Professor David J Wilson is Professor and Sub-Dean for Basic Medical Sciences in the School of Biosciences at Cardiff University. Previously he was Head of the Division of Basic Medical Sciences in the Medical Faculty of The Queen’s University in Belfast and before that he worked at the Middlesex Hospital Medical School and the MRC National Institute for Medical Research, Mill Hill.
Currently he is President of the Institute of Anatomical Sciences.
He has published extensively in the fields of embryology, angiogenesis and bone cell biology. Since coming to Cardiff, he has begun to become more involved in pedagogic research.
