Improving employability

Our graduates can take advantage of professional opportunities in a range of sectors from academic, industrial or environmental to medical and commercial.

In 2015, 86% of the School's graduates (who were available for work) reported that they were in employment and/or further study within six months of graduation.

  • support for professional training year applications
  • lectures, industry specific talks and tours

The opportunity to do a professional training year attracted me to Cardiff, because it would allow me to gain an insight into possible careers after graduating. It also enables me to gain valuable work experience that will enhance my CV.
