Credit Levels and the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales (CQFW)
During the Autumn of 2012, the University will be adopting the levels set out in the Welsh government’s Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales (CQFW). You will not have to do anything to support this, but you will notice that the levels of the modules you are taking will be changing in SIMS as set out in the table below.
|Cardiff University Level
|Level Zero||Level 3|
|Level One||Level 4|
|Level Two||Level 5|
|Level Three||Level 6|
|Level M||Level 7|
CQFW Level 3: To prepare students for entry to an undergraduate award;
CQFW Level 4: Appropriate to the award of a University Certificate of Higher Education;
CQFW Level 5: Appropriate to the award of a University Diploma of Higher Education;
