Responsibilities
Project Manager for the Centre for Research in the Built Environment within the Welsh School of Architecture.

Responsible for a variety of industrial research projects for the Centre. Working in the fields of sustainable building design, building performance, design advice and computer analysis.

Qualified BREEAM for Offices Assessor.

Key Responsibilities
  • To project manage industrial research projects within the Centre.
  • To develop and progress the Centre, both internally within the school and externally amongst industry.
  • To facilitate the link between industry and research, matching client's needs with the Centre's expertise.
  • To develop links with existing and new clients/partners in Wales, the UK and abroad.
  • To provide a strategic approach to the preparation of consultancy & research proposals.
  • To improve networking with relevant specialist business advisors, professional bodies and industry groups and networks.
  • To represent the Centre at national and international events.
  • To monitor performance against set targets and ensure quality of output.

Overview
Debbie works in the Centre for Research in the Built Environment, providing a business-focused approach to the research and consultancy services carried out by CRiBE. She manages, supports and markets the research and consultancy services of the Centre, maintaining working relationships with industry and government and liaising closely with staff at the Centre.
