Research Interests

• Simulation of building performance and the built environment. In particular lighting and thermal performance.
• The study of daylight and artificial lighting and their link to health and productivity.
• Development and testing of novel and energy efficient artificial lighting systems.

Consulting Work

Over the past few years, I have worked on numerous projects around the world, ranging from high rise estates in Hong Kong, to stadiums, offices in the Middle East, Asia, the US, to education buildings in the UK, health care facilities, among others. The work undertaken involved computer simulation of building performance, design advice for architectural firms, development of guides for governments, among others.

Currently, I am working on a sustainable design construction in the Mediterranean.
