The LCRI Convergence Energy Programme is funded by the Welsh European Funding Office. The Programme is a Research, Development and Innovation (RD&I) Programme, aiming for long-term economic growth and the creation of employment opportunities for Wales. The Programme works with enterprises, including the SME sector in particular, to deliver industry-relevant new knowledge and technologies that will provide business opportunities and help Wales deliver on its low carbon agenda.
The WEST project is targeted with developing and delivering pilot training modules arising from both industry need and research project outcomes, using a variety of methods to suit industry needs.
The BEST Programme is funded by the Welsh European Funding Office under European Social Funding. The aim of this Programme is to develop and pilot strategic training to support people working with the sustainable energy and built environment sectors e.g. architects, engineers, craftspeople and skilled workers. The Programme will support the development of the existing workforce, and will enable the delivery of the Welsh Governments aspirations towards sustainable development.
