WSA YEAR 2 WINNERS OF NATIONWIDE / RIBA SUSTAINABLE HOUSING

Congratulations to Year 2 WSA students who won several awards at the 2009 Nationwide Sustainable Housing Awards Student Competition, in an awards ceremony held at RIBA on 2nd Feb 2009. Jason Ramlugon was awarded First Prize in the new build category, with Helen Ayton winning a joint second prize. Alice Brownfield and Wei Han Ho both received commendations, while Louisa Barfoot was shortlisted within the exhibited work. The competition, sponsored by Nationwide, was open to undergraduate architecture and design students, with a challenge to' inspire the design professionals and homeowners of the future to take on the challenges of sustainability in housing'.

All winning and shortlisted entries are now on display at RIBA until 28th February 2009.
