""The Medieval and its Contexts Seminar

An international seminar 'The Medieval and its Contexts' will take place in London on 1-2 July, as part of the large AHRC-funded project 'The Indian Temple: Production, Place, Patronage' being run by PRASADA, the WSA's centre for the architecture of South Asia. The seminar is to be held at the Royal Asiatic Society and the School of Oriental and African Studies, one the project collaborators. It will compare the medieval worlds of India and Europe, exploring the contexts and processes underlying the creation of temples and cathedrals.
