RSAW Competition winners at the WSA
A design competition for a sustainable primary school
The WSA recently held the 'Royal Society of Architects in Wales' (RSAW) competition organised with support from Value Wales and the Welsh Assembly Government. The competition was to design a Primary school which in addition would also inspire and identify a new generation of designers for future projects in Wales. Architects were asked to design and produce a model of environmental excellence whilst offering the community of children and teachers functionality in their educational surroundings.
Two teams were jointly awarded the prize (donated by Willmott Dixon) and the WSA is proud to say that one of these teams (entry number 22) was from the Welsh School of Architecture, they are:
