Olympic Torch Relay
Guylee Simmonds, a student at the wsa, was selected as a Torchbearer for his dedication to charity work. In the summer of 2009, prior to coming to study Architecture at Cardiff University, Guylee travelled to spend a month in Haiti, working with the Haiti Hospital Appeal, to provide a better medical infrastructure in the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. read more
Welsh Future Homes: Visitor centre
Traditional Welsh home with a modern context
Following a design competition conducted by the Welsh Future Homes project partners, the Welsh School of Architecture (WSA) were appointed to design the Visitor Centre on the Ebbw Vale site.
Dr Geiger and Prof Jan Cremers from the University of Applied Science Stuttgart, will visit the Welsh School of Architecture on the 3rd of May 2012 for a day of lectures, open to the public, the practicing architect and wsa students.
