Professor Chris Tweed

21st Anniversary Scholarship Fund to support Home and EU Post Graduate Study at the Welsh School of Architecture in 2014-15.

The Welsh School of Architecture (WSA) has been awarded funding by the University to enable us to offer 50% fees scholarships to excellent home and EU students applying to study on our PGT programmes. The 21st Anniversary Scholarship Fund is designed to attract and reward the brightest students from across the UK and the European Union to study at the WSA.

This scholarship package will give high-calibre students the opportunity to study at a world-leading, research-intensive university and help ease the associated financial burdens.

Vice-Chancellor, Professor Colin Riordan

These prestigious scholarships are intended to reduce the financial burden and enable Home and EU students to study in 2014-15. So, if you are a UK or EU student with a good academic and/or work experience track record and are interested in postgraduate study at the Welsh School of Architecture, we would encourage you to apply.

We expect a high level of competition for these scholarships and so we would encourage you to submit your application for the course of your choice together with your application for the scholarship by 1st August 2014 at the latest.

Study on the following courses is eligible for support:

  • MA Professional Studies
  • MSc: Theory and Practice of Sustainable Design
  • MSc: Environmental Design of Buildings
  • MSc: Sustainable Building Conservation
  • MSc: Sustainable Mega Buildings
  • MSc: Building Performance Modelling
  • MA: Urban Design

Although this scheme is aimed at supporting a year of full time study, we will consider applications to support part-time study on the MSc in Sustainable Building Conservation. If awarded, however, this support will only be guaranteed for the first year of study.
