Charlotte Booth from the Building Energy and Environmental Performance Modelling MSc at WSA won first prize in the Student Presentation Competition with the South West and South Wales (SW&SW) branch of the Energy Institute.
Charlotte gave a very informative presentation on the optimisation of fenestration design in new generation housing, which was the topic for her MSc dissertation. The judges (a mix of industrialists and academics) were very impressed with the quality of her presentation and the research behind it.
Charlotte will be presented with a certificate celebrating her achievement by Mr Paul Hancock, Chair of SW&SW at the prestigious Idris Jones Lecture and Luncheon on 28th February 2014. The Student Presentation Competition will take place again in September.
Any students interested in participating should contact Dr Vicki Stevenson (Vice Chair of SW&SW) on firstname.lastname@example.org
