Panasonic Trust Fellowships

All three schemes meet the criteria for Panasonic Trust Fellowships.

Every year the Trust awards a limited number of fellowships (worth £8,000 each for the 2009-10 academic year) to engineers attending full-time Masters' courses in the UK on subjects related to the Environment and Sustainability.

To be eligible a candidate must:

  • be a UK citizen
  • qualified to degree level in engineering or a related discipline
  • have membership at any grade of a professional engineering institution
  • have some industrial experience.

International Scholarship Fund

In recognition of the outstanding talent of many international students, Cardiff University offers a highly prestigious International Scholarship Fund designed to attract and reward the brightest students.

There is a wide range of distinct scholarships available, at all academic levels: Foundation, Undergraduate, Postgraduate Taught, and PhD.

All three schemes meet the criteria these scholarships.

Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) Chevening Scholarships

Chevening Scholarships are for talented people who have been identified as potential future leaders across a wide range of fields; including politics, business, the media, civil society, religion, and academia.

Applicants should be high calibre graduates with the personal, intellectual and interpersonal qualities necessary for leadership. Scholars are personally selected by British High Commissioners throughout the world, sometimes in partnership with appropriate sponsoring organisations.

Applications for 2013/14 Chevening Scholarships will open at the end of October 2012 and close in December 2012.
