CRiBE Environmental Management

Building owners and occupiers are under increased pressure to become more environmentally compliant in their building design, management and day to day operation.

CRiBE's SENVICS (Sustainable Environmental Improvements in the Commercial Sector) Project offers free, environmental support to provide building owners and occupiers an opportunity to:

  • adopt a sustainable, innovative approach for energy efficiency and environmental management which benefits both parties through formal or informal measures
  • improve corporate image and building environmental performance
  • improve efficiency of operation whilst reducing consumption of resources
  • achieve bottom line business benefits.

Commercial building owners, landlords, property agents/manager and commercial tenants based in Newport can receive free environmental support, advice and training through SENVICS.

The 'Re-lease your energy efficiency' pilot project, is funded by the Carbon Trust. CRiBE is providing free bespoke support aimed at improving environmental management of buildings for businesses and organisations.

It is regarded by the UK's construction and property sectors as a reliable measure of best practice in environmental design and management. The Centre has 2 BREEAM accredited staff and is able to carry out assessment of Schools, Offices and Dwellings under the BREEAM scheme.
