Responsibilities
I am currently part of a team working on two projects funded by Carmarthenshire County Council and the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) on the
health impacts of meeting housing quality standards. My primary role within these projects is the further development of the neighbourhood environment assessment
tool (REAT) as well as the collection and analysis of data using this tool.
Research Interests
I am a Latin American Studies, GIS and Planning graduate with an interest on the effects of the environment on individual and social well-being.
My research has mainly focused on neighbourhood accessibility, social capital and mental well-being. My wider research interests are in all aspects
of sustainable development and on the joint use of qualitative data and GIS technologies for the better understanding of spatial problems and their resolution.
