Postgraduate study

Postgraduate study can help you improve your job prospects, change your career direction or allow you to pursue further academic study.

If you decide to go further with Cardiff University you can:

  • choose from over 200 taught Masters', diplomas and certificates including a number of vocational courses
  • pursue research in over 140 different areas with a PhD or MPhil.

We are one of the few universities in Britain to offer a dedicated Graduate Centre for postgraduate students. It provides year-round facilities and services designed to enhance your experience including meeting and study facilities and a programme of events.

The University Graduate College encourages research students to become part of the wider research community and provides a comprehensive skills development programme for research students.
