Cardiff University is committed to providing support for students from care and those leaving care who want to go on to higher education. This page provides information on the support package available to care leavers who study at Cardiff University.
We provide a package of support measures which we hope will help students to settle in, focus on their studies while they are with us and graduate successfully. The package of support is available while you’re deciding what or where to study, continues through the application process, and is ongoing once you’ve started your course. We are delighted that we have been awarded The Buttle UK Quality Mark for Care Leavers in Higher Education in recognition of our commitment.
A university degree could help you take charge of your future by developing your skills, knowledge and confidence and open up new opportunities. Cardiff University offers a huge range of subjects, great support services and the opportunity to live independently while enjoying a varied social life in a vibrant capital city.
