Re-apply now for 12-13 funding!
To maximise the chances of your money being here when you return to study at the start of Autumn term there are deadlines set each year for re-applying depending on where you normally live in the UK.
Wales - May 4th
England- 29th June
Northern Ireland - 29th June
Please note that the applications for students who normally apply to Student Awards Agency Scotland will open in April (exact dates not set yet) and the date to apply to ensure funding for Sept is usually the end of June. See www.saas.gov.uk
These dates are to maximize the chance of funding being paid at the start of the academic year. If you miss these dates please apply asap after.
EU students who are eligible for fees only funding and are returning in 12-13 will have been sent the application forms (EUPR1a) in February. If you have not received this yet please check with the address given on your last form or call the EU team (0141 243 3570). You should re-apply by 29th June to try to ensure the fees are sorted out by the start of term in Sept.
Welsh Government announce changes to NHS Student Funding in 2012
The Welsh Government (WG) has announced their plans for student financial support for students starting their NHS funded course in September 2012. The announcement can be found on the WG website. A summary can also be found on our Undergraduate Funding (Healthcare Courses) page.

2012/13 Undergraduate Tuition Fees
Cardiff University will charge an annual fee of £9,000 a year for Home/EU undergraduates starting courses in 2012.
