Description of service
The Academic and Skills Development Centre runs classes for undergraduate students who wish to gain new skills or improve the classification of their final degree.
Description of classes
The classes are multi-disciplinary allowing students to share good practice, often working in pairs or small groups on a range of topics, from note taking to essay writing.
Timetable of classes
The classes run on Tuesdays and Wednesdays over the lunchtime period. Students can attend as few or as many as they wish, or sign up for a Certificate.
Location & Facilities
The Academic and Skills Development Centre has a fully equipped classroom which is based in the Student Support Centre at 50 Park Place, Cathays.
This year we are introducing Certificates, which give students recognition for their work and continued professional development. All certificates are endorsed by Cardiff University and signed by the PVC for Student Experience and Academic Standards.
