Classes will take place at 37 Park Place and at Ty Dewi Sant in the Heath Park Campus.

Do I need to register for a class or just turn up?

Please register for the class you wish to attend.

How do I register for a class?

There is a link under each class on the Timetable.  Just click it and register.  You will receive a reminder email 2 days before your class.

Sorry, we are unable to provide support for postgraduate students. Please contact your Course Director.

English is not my first language, will there be classes to help me improve my English?

Classes for English language support are provided by CAIRD. Please click on their webpage on the right hand side.

Can I bring essay drafts along for proof-reading?

We do not provide individual tutoring or proof-reading services for any student. The Centre offers participatory classes to enhance your learning and improve your experience of learning whilst at Cardiff.

I am confused about how the certificates work, who can I ask for clarification?

If you have any questions regarding the certificates then please email skillscentre@cardiff.ac.uk with your query and your phone number and we will get back to you with help and guidance.

I am struggling with the maths and statistics components of my course, can you help?

We do not currently offer maths or statistical support as these are already offered by Maths Support based in the school of Mathematics. All disciplines can attend their workshops so please look at the links to your right to find the relevant support.

The topic I need most help with isn’t offered by your service, what can I do?

We want to continue to improve our service so if you feel there is a gap in our portfolio of classes then please email skillscentre@cardiff.ac.uk with the name or nature of the class you would like to see offered.
