Interim Director of Human Resources

As Interim Director of HR, Hayley’s department is responsible for providing advice on all HR-related matters, supporting individual, team and organisational development and acting as a centre of excellence in the promotion of the health and safety of staff, students and visitors.

Since joining the University, I have been fortunate enough to have undertaken a variety of roles, having progressed my career from HR Officer to my current substantive position as Head of Organisation and Staff Development before taking on this interim role. My roles have all involved working across the breadth of human resources areas on both strategic and operational projects and I have been fortunate to have led a number of HR teams focused on staff development, reward and recognition, employee relations, equality, diversity and inclusion, staff engagement and policy and organisational development.

On a personal note, I studied History at Swansea University before doing an MSc in Human Resources Management at the University of South Wales.
